First Person Plural:

PBS website on First Person Plural

An international adoption agency working in China, Korea, Vietnam, Ecuador, India, Guatemala, Romania, the Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong.

Celebrate the Child
A multicultural resource for parents and children of international adoption. Online store of books, dolls, and cultural items from Korea, China, Vietnam, Russia and Latin America.

World Association For Children and Parents
An international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agency working with China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Romania, Russia, Thailand and the United States.

Adopt Korea
A web guide for those interested in adoption in Korea.

Korea Focus
A support organization for families with children from Korea. We provide families touched by Korean adoption - adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth parents - with information and programs on Korean culture and the adoption experience.

International Adoption Alliance
A nonprofit organization, designed to help provide cultural resources for transracially/transculturally adopted children and their families; and to increase awareness of waiting children worldwide, and the programs that serve them.

Alliance for Children
The Alliance For Children, Inc., is a private, nonprofit adoption agency. Their website offers an adoption guide, a section called "China Talk" on issues of adopting in China, personal stories from their newsletter, and information on their services and events.

Medical Information for International Adoption
Health and medical information for parents of children adopted from Asia and children with special needs.

National Adoption Information Clearinghouse
The National Adoption Information Clearinghouse, a comprehensive resource on all aspects of adoption, is a service of the Children's Bureau, Administration on Children, Youth and Families, Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services.

Pact, An Adoption Alliance
The organization's website offers information on adoption agencies, attorneys, and legislative updates. It defines itself as adoption awareness and information think tank, public information and education group, an advocacy organization, membership organization.

Resources for Adoptees:

Inje Institute for International Human Resources
A nonprofit educational institution attached to Inje University in Korea. The institute aims to assist adult Korean adoptees and encourage them to understand the importance of humanity and of their motherland by providing free room and board, educational facilities, and trips.

Korean Adoptee
A resource for Korean adoptees to gather and unify the community.

Researchers Investigating Various Aspects of International Adoption
A list of researchers exploring issues of international adoption. Contact information provided.

Korean American Adoptive Family Network
This organization's mission is to network groups and individuals related to Korean adoptions. The network facilitates dialogue, promotes resource sharing, and disseminates information.
