AIDS in Asia Mission Statement

Launched in the fall of 2003, the Asia Society’s Initiative on AIDS in Asia aims to mobilize Asian decision makers and their American counterparts to build a collaborative response to Asia’s growing HIV/AIDS crisis. AIDS in Asia strives to activate and unite policymakers, business leaders, and opinion-makers through a series of dedicated programs focused on the growing impact of the disease in Asia, as well as on the lessons learned through past efforts in Asia and elsewhere in the world.
