Dorj Munkhuu, Chair, Gal Golomt National Movement. A great-grandmother, doctor, and
member of Parliament, Dr. Munkhuu has helped shape democracy in Mongolia and brought
about changes to improve the health and political standing of women.
Ket Noeun, Provincial Coordinator, Cambodia Women's Crisis Center. For the past 25
years, Ms. Noeun has been working to provide social services for women and girls in
Cambodia who have survived trafficking, domestic violence, and rape.

On October 3, the Asia Society's Asian Social Issues Program hosted a roundtable discussion addressing women's rights and health issues. The roundtable was co-sponsored by Americans for UNFPA, a public education organization that promotes the work of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA). Both Dr. Munkhuu and Ms. Noeun were recipients of the 2007 Americans for UNFPA Robin Chandler Duke International Award for the Health and Dignity of Women.
