A bus runs every two hours from this small village (Teejri) to bigger towns like Sirohi and Udaipur (both over 200 kms away). The buses are usually overloaded with farmers during October through May, after the sowing of the fields has been done. Lack of any other work and a need for income drives these men to populate labour chowks in bigger towns. During the lean months, one often finds only women and children in the household.
