Bapuprasad is a hired labourer on the paddy field for this monsoon season. He and his group of six men and women will sow and tend to the rice saplings for Rs. 1000 ($ 22), an allocation of temporary land for building huts and a very limited supply of wheat for a period of two months. The group intends to move eastward when this job ends.
