South Korean Ban Ki-moon set to become UN Secretary General

During the most recent session of the UN General Assembly, the Asia Society hosted three of the candidates for Secretary-General, including South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon, who is all but certain to assume the post at the end of this year when Kofi Annan steps down.

Below we present interviews, video clips and speeches by some of the candidates, as well as an extensive, wide-ranging interview with Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, Chairman of Asia Society, and former Permanent Representative of the US to the United Nations.
